As my family's resident robot aficionado, I get all the cool robot links sent my way. This week, my future brother-in-law came across this interesting combination of robotics and adorable baby emperor penguins.
Obviously the immediate question was why I haven't build a robotic baby penguin of my own, so I set to work to provide a quick response. Spoiler alert: antarctic researchers have a much more substantial budget than I do.

Fond Farewell
It's with a heavy heart that, after 8 years of robots, PLC's, test stations, it's time for me to say goodbye to my friends and colleagues at DMC. I am so thankful for my time here and the opportunities it gave me to learn and grow as an engineer and a software programmer, even if it did mean I had to work with LabVIEW.
I've faced so many different challenges, working on everything from testing Slurpee machines to controlling the door lock controls at a county jail. I know that I wouldn't be where I am today without the support that I received at DMC.
To commemorate all of the highs and lows along the way, I put together this slideshow which I believe includes every digital media record of my time here. Enjoy my rudimentary editing skills, 90's music, and litany of cheesy smiles.
